Everyone complaining that Badspot shouldn't have banned him because admins can do whatever they want on their server are contradicting themselves. If he can do anything he wants on his server why can't Badspot do anything he wants on his forum? That's the point Badspot was making and it flew over all your heads.

Right. Lets think about this as a non-handicap.

I understand Badspot can do whatever he wants, just as I understand CUCUCUMBERDUDE can do whatever he wants.

I do not support the decision, as I did not support what CUCUCUMBERDUDE did until I knew the actual situation.

Badspot banned the guy for saying that people should be able to administrate as they see fit, it's their server. He never challenged Badspot's ability to do dumbass bans. My assumption is he had too much faith in Badspot to even need to point out that, yes, Badspot, you're still king here, no need to flaunt it.

Cannot even see a point in there at all. You seem to agree with me while acting like you don't agree with me. Or you are trying to make a point unrelated to my original point and went off on a tangent.

Iban was talking about people comparing it to genocide, I wasn't drawing any extreme parallels. And I don't get your 2nd quote, because there isn't another BL forum to go to Badspot can't ban someone for being an starfish?

The reason it's okay for me to do whatever the forget I want on my server is because there are literally hundreds of other servers that people can leave and go to.

However, there is only one blockland forums.

I can be a richard and ban people left and right, but that barely affects them - sure, now they only have 199 instead of 200 servers to choose from.

As I said, there is only one blockland forums. It would be a real pity to get banned randomly.
