The C.O.C.C responds to the many war threats that the reactor containment structures are still intact, with only minor radiation releases, dropping to background levels by the time it reaches the border. The C.O.C.C also raised the alert level to 2. The C.N.C has ordered the poisoning of the reactor, which will ruin the expensive reactor but should completely shut it down. Boron pellets are being dumped into the reactor's core via large tanks.

Due to FotS's military, troops are now patrolling the borders, and the defenses have been manned.
