Lord Tony already said he doesn't want to use those

I still question how a coin will work as a brick. It would HAVE to be stacked to reach the 1x1 plate or 1x1 brick.

None the less, this would be great for treasure rooms.

Make one item version, and one prop brick version which stretches to a 1x1 plate.

Scenery and a purpose, I like the idea.
Also, don't make it a prop, make it a .blb brick. But even then, the "Props are stupid" people will still hate all over this.

Aren't props blb bricks with extra models?
Anyway, the "Props are stupid" people are usually the "Blockland is Lego and there shouldn't be a single mod which doesn't follow that principle" people, who seem to forget that there actually are prop lego bricks.

Lego coins are really very strange, if you scaled them up they're about the size of a CD and would be worth around $400 if they were made of solid gold (using 0.28 troy ounces, estimated 10mm disc with a radius of 120mm). That stack LeetZero posted would be worth over $1600 and weigh nearly a pound! Really you should be able to fit a pile of dozens of coins in one square. I think people just use the 1x1f cylinder because that's the smallest cylinder we have in the game and it's similar to what they're used to using from playing with legos. We don't have to do the same thing lego does, in fact, it would probably be better if we didn't. Personally, I would love to have piles and stacks of coins.

Of course, the giant coin is still perfect for a medallion, which is a fine way to store gold, especially if you're a pirate.

I have the most precious stack of gold coins as models on a game forum, I am so loving special.

Scaled to 1x1f. Too round?

239 tris, yeah too round.

I think the item looked better.

-snip-
Too thick, try going with 2x2f.

I think there should be both.

That would be a medal not a coin. =/

Oh you want an item?

I think for a brick then it should be stacked, probably the best way to go with that.

Oh you want an item?

Well I suggested two types, items or bricks. Either one is fine for me.

Item for I guess RPGs or to look nice.

Bricks for decoration. I think the best way for bricks is to make a stack of gold coins.
