That doesn't mean it hit a nerve, that just means that the person doesn't care to argue back. More often than that, the drama-ee can't help their case by arguing.

I just see them as opportunistic and unskillful. It just annoys me for some reason, not matter who it is aimed at. We all already knew Iban spends a majority of his life on this here forum, if he maybe implicated that into some well-constructed argument or even just used it in a better insult, I wouldn't feel as annoyed. Thats just me though. I used to take cheap shots in the past too, but I just don't like them anymore.
