I do not intend to offend you, just stating a point in the form of a rhetorical question/statement; and will be written as follows:
If Buddhism's "Deity" is the universe, then wouldn't the universe be recognized from the spiritual/religious POV as the energy within it? Emotions are energy. The mainstream, controlled by trends, which are controlled by emotions, which in turn are controlled by energy, seems to link dangerously closely to the universe. I find that at some point, one's moral standards could become weak; this is not limited to a few, but all people. How would you recognize the universe then?
I do agree with this. And just remember to those who disagree entirely, enjoying freely the pleasures of intoxication and love. They might be waving a cardboard sign some time in the future.
