Pet peeves of mine

When people are taking what they think as truth and giving it as "vaild" information to others.

(Ex: A kid tried to say that the school couldn't take his phone away, this may be true if he did not sign a paper that said they could in the beginning of the year, so he never remembered this and continued to tell others that they could do what they want because they couldn't take it away)

You complained about them talking about mainstream stuff, then said that they're trying to be 'indivdualistic' by doing so.
Explain this.

I'm talking about when that is the only thing they talk about it, and have to make their conversation so that everyone can hear it. I don't dislike them for liking it, considering 70% of my friends like that, but certain individuals I know have to constantly bring up "OH HEY DID YOU WATCH BLAH BLAH [Show I dislike], IT WAS SO AWESOME WHEN...." and have to almost yell it out loud. I wouldn't even do that considering how annoying it would be for stuff I like.
