FOOD: Bratwurst from Safeway.

OIL: Canola

METHOD: Frying

Status: Getting nice and done.

Post about sausages. Updates coming soon as I cook.

Tips about cooking them:
- Never break the casing. It makes all the delicious sausage juice pour out and dries the bratwurst.

- You can tell it's done when it is firm and browned on the outside. If red blood pours out, it means it's not. If clear grease does, it's done.

- If you're frying it, use canola oil. It's lower in fat, and it's made from rapeseed which is code for it will rape your tastebuds with joy.

It's starting to get brown marks on it's sides. This is a good sign.

I need a grill installed in my kitchen :3

Your frying a sausage?

Your frying a sausage?
a bratwurst, yes.

It's done now.

It's perfect. I busted open the casing to make sure it was fully cooked, and a bunch of delicious oil came out.
