Tips about cooking them:
- Never break the casing. It makes all the delicious sausage juice pour out and dries the bratwurst.
- You can tell it's done when it is firm and browned on the outside. If red blood pours out, it means it's not. If clear grease does, it's done.
- If you're frying it, use canola oil. It's lower in fat, and it's made from rapeseed which is code for it will rape your tastebuds with joy.
