I do, but I find a weapon that doesn't take a second to shoot again while out of ammo is more useful.

Me too, but I either get healed or find a health pack.  The shotgun is way too useful to get rid of.

Erm...I tend to never miss and I find the gunboats to be less useful than a shotgun or the bison.
