The Brass Beast is awful for offense, you are acting as if everyone will remain still, unless the sentry is point blank, you won't be pushing up fast enough to out damage the sentry with the engineer repairing it. (Or you'll waste the uber on a single sentry)

i really dont get why you guys think you need to be near the sentry to kill it, it's piss easy even when it's a good place with the increased damage

An uber doesn't last long, unless you're in an enclosed area, you're killing the people or the sentry.

That's why you take the sentry out first, then easily mow down everyone else.

Okay, I'm going to stop arguing and say, it's dependent on where the sentry is located and if an engineer is repairing it.

just hit them with your forgetin' secondary or something, if they're charging at you they're on a Self Delete course anyway and a grazing shot from the shotgun or scattergun will knock them over. i don't see the problem with them unless you have the sensory abilities of a corpse

It's harder than it sounds, the speed boost makes it more difficult, not to mention if you graze him, he's prob not dying, he only needs like 70 hp to go full speed(something like that).

I agree with the shotgun thing, if my magazine's empty on the rocket launcher I'll whip out the shotgun and swiss-cheesinate them with it. I don't use buffpacks because it sort've sucks not having a hitscan weapon (melees excluded)

Not saying you can't kill a soldier using it, I'm just saying that you made it sound as though it were impossible to lose to a soldier with it.

You've got a point there. Minicrits can be damn potent, but unfortunately it can be hard to find a coordinated team for a buff.
