Here's something i never understood about the spy, why would you disguise yourself as a teammate?

if you disguise as your own pyro you ward off enemy spies
and if you use the DR it looks like you're a different class that died

Deadringer, disguise as a teammate, fake die, while cloaked disguise as an enemy, you just (or should have) fooled most people. (assuming you know where to uncloak without alerting everyone)
