Dkamm is doing exactly what a Spy should do, make it easier for the team. That's why he's in support.

The spy is a completely useless class. Same with the sniper. At best, the spy/sniper can instantly kill someone on the enemy team. However, that is the only merit to the classes. And unlike every other class, your skill with the spy is not how good you are (At least, not entirely.), but rather how bad your opponents  are.

Spy is like that, as well as pyro. They're only effective if their opponents aren't good.
However, sniper is a class that scales with your skill and can be ridiculously effective.

Seriously, have you ever watched competitive TF2? There is a reason why nobody plays Spy, Sniper, Pyro, Heavy or Engineer. And that is because those classes are all not very good if you consider the alternatives. Which would be Scout, Demoman, Soldier and Medic.
 
Sometimes somebody will go spy to take down a medic, or at the very least try to take down the medic, but that's the only use spies get in comp TF2. And if you even try to go sniper you'll be laughed out of the game.*

*Not counting certain strategies that can be effective at the start of the round.

If the game has 9 classes, use all 9.
Leaving it to 4 classes makes the game boring.

Actually, the cookie cutter comp build is 2 Soldiers, 2 Scouts, 1 Demoman, and 1 Medic. You are only allowed to have 1 Demoman and 1 Medic per team, I think.


Competitive is 6 V 6 by the way.

I'm surprised at the two Scouts. I'd think it would be one Scout and another Demo/Medic, but if you're only allowed one, it makes more sense.

I don't like strictness in the game. Telling people this is the way to play is not my idea of fun, especially with class limits too.

Yes I'm aware 4 Sniper syndrome is a serious deal but there's a slight chance one of them is good enough to make up for the bad ones.
