Some servers have a automatic limit thing where you cannot be X class if there is over # on the field

Well then TF2 is not as balanced as you think it is if a server full of engineers can take out the entire playing field.

It's unbalanced when the class distribution is unbalanced. hurrrdurrr

That's why half-decent servers have class limits.

Boils down to

A medic and another class can be ubered and take down a sentry nest or a group of enemies or charge and take a point.

A dispenser will not let you do that.

This wasn't much of a problem in TFC.

Probably because some classes actually had grenades.

I told you, the sentries were in individual spots, not a nest.

are you stuffting me

tfc's balance problem was the grenades.

"TFC is automatically better cause it's older"

I wasn't talking about your situations, I was mentioning in general. Maybe you should get a spy for that.

and some classes do still have grenades. Demomaaaan

Nope, never said that.

There is the weapons, class concept, grenades, etc. Even the medic was decent in a fight and it made people actually want to be a medic.

One class.

Not to mention his grenade launcher is weaker than a frag grenade.

The medic isn't supposed to be a good fighter you dumbforget. It's a support class for a reason.

The lack of grenades is one of TF2's best features. Imagine Demomen bouncing their grenades off walls and being able to kill you. Now imagine every class being able to do that. TF2 is great without grenades because it differentiates the game from stereotypical FPS gams. Of course it is already pretty unique, but the kind of weapons available is one of its core charms.

EDIT: My 8000th post. And it's defending TF2. Aw yeah.

I like The Crusader's Crossbow if i go combat medic, Along with Übersaw

For far away things you use stickys instead of.. pellets or whatever those ones are called.
Or just aim with gravity in mind like a smart person.

A weak medic can't do much support if it can't even cover its own team mates with any type of firepower.

That's why the medic in Battlefield has a heavy machinegun.

I hardly ever play Medic, but the Crossbow is a great weapon.

It supports, it doesn't return fire. Even so, it has the syringe gun as a weapon.

Because it's not supposed to, it's supposed to keep its allies from getting their asses handed to them with healing.

Except when the enemy does more damage than what you can actually heal and since your syringe gun is useless you can't do much damage to the enemy. So if that heavy you are healing dies then guess who is forgeted? You are; the medic.

TFC medic > TFC scout

TF2 scout > TF2 medic

A medic in TF2 can't even kill a damn scout easily.
