However, the self heal of the classes have a down side.
The Zatochi is honor bound which means you cant withdraw it unless you killed someone.
The healing beacon has to be charged.
The black box... well yeah, heals slowly and only on hit.
The pyro's hammer has to kill to heal himself a good amount.
The scout's mad milk hits any close enemy, however to heal with it you have to shoot the enemy you just milked.
The spy's knife that heals lowers his health which was already quite low.

And the medic heals fast and has ubercharge.

So the medic will never be unneeded, the need for a medic has just been lowered in certain situations.

I've been playing alot and the only drop I've gotten is the Southern Hospitality that I never use because I deal less damage, rarely play as the engi and never use melee much anyways.
