qf is good for healing everyone quickly and efficiently, it's more focused on healing in the moment than ubers

The Crossbow was created for Medieval and should stay there, much like the Steak Sandvich

Taking out those pesky rogue Scouts is more important than trying to make a well-placed shot on my erratically-moving teammate

By the time you have the chance to land all those shots you'll either be dead or your team will be back to back you up

Taking away a Medic's Uber (the QF Uber is a joke and therefore doesn't count as an Uber) is like taking away a Pyro's airblast

If the enemy team has any intelligence at all you're going to need a valid Uber to push through or hold out depending on which side you're playing

To me, the quick fix healing rate is more useful than an uber. Having ten players at full health is better than one player being invincible for ten seconds, unless it's a BIG sentry nest.

My One Bad Medic replay shows how i managed to survive with little to no help and using the Blutsauger on a Heavy with crits then a Pyro who almost burned me to death while he had crits then a Scout with the Shortstop tried to kill me but i ran off and he didn't follow me

and suddenly your argument died
you can switch players duing an uber, and the uber lasts on a player for a couple seconds
and you can still overheal with a medigun or kritz hur, which you can't even do with the qf

This is one of those things that can only be explained by experience, and quite frankly I think I know what I'm doing with over 100 hours as Medic in the books

I may have ripped pages out of that book by accident a few months ago, but there's still over 20 hours there and the fact still stands

Oh I'm not denying at all the medi-gun isn't great. I know exactly why you use it.
I think they are side grades to each other, I just prefer it for my playstyle.

just saying, but if you're healing target can't protect you, then they're pretty stuffty
i like using the crossbow + amputator when i find a good heavy to heal, because then with small amounts of damage i can heal faster
that and the amputator kills snipers like a boss, my heavy died to a spy in dustbowl and i started rampaging on their side with 3 people after me

why the forget wouldn't you use the crossbow with it
