Freeze, the damage increase really isn't that much.

It's not the damage it's the thought of the player - spies just go in the battlefield with no cloak or disguise and just shoot. No stabs either.

TF2 is free because they thought it was easier for people to buy hats and other items. TFC costs money still because they can't make any money off the game since there is no hats.

Yeah, sometimes they stab but mostly you see them disguise and shoot everyone

They're just two different viable playstyles. This one just happens to get more kills.
If your team succeeds, you're doing it right. I've seen combat engies who rape the opposition.

and even if they succeed, it probably wasnt you that helped
