i personally like the invisiwatch, as you can pick up ammo and stuff to go farther without stopping.
Collecting a chain of ammo to keep going? Genius.

Dead Ringer Spies are incredibly easy to track down. It's obvious when they're using it and they make it obvious where they're going. I've gotten tons of kills on DR cloaked Spies, either by knowing where they're going and getting tons of damage with the Scattergun, or 'tagging' them with the Wrap Assassin's bleed ball.

Isn't that like the basic strategy?

Pity while you're off doing that you've let another spy slip right behind you.
Just because you kill someone doesn't mean it was good.

Guys, I'm trying to become good with spy, what cloak should I use? I have the default one, the Dead Ringer, and the Cloak and Dagger.

Playstyle?

I use DR because I just love terrifying people.

Because everyone knows there are two Spies in Highlander.

Snipers are easy to avoid.
I don't know how you approach them, but for me they don't cause any problems.

No duh.
Well what strategy would you use then!? I don't see any other one other than 'you know what I COULD pick up that ammo pack and keep staying invisible but eh, screw it let's just waltz into their base'.

Didn't realize you were talking about comp. in which case that's even dumber to chase a spy in my opinion unless nothing else is happening or you see him come back for more. While you're doing that the other team has just capped the next point.

Normally playing Scout on offense is mainly just capping so our time doesn't suck. A payload cart speed caps at three, which is when I'll take a detour and kill a Spy, Sniper, Scout, or something like that. On defense, my team is staying with the objective, and Scout on defense is mainly going beyond the point where offense and defense collide, and killing stuff. A single Spy can take down an Engineer setup if somebody isn't helping him defend. In a way I'm helping the Engineer, the base of the defense.

A decent Sniper will take a shot at you anyway even if he probably won't get a headshot.

why do you guys only talk about spy when i look here

talk about a REAL class like soldier demo scout or med
