So apparently when you change a game sound to something else and play on an sv_pure server, every time the sound plays it plays some sped-up garbled speech and makes the most unholy screeching sound

Why do servers even turn on sv_pure anyway? Unless it's on by default and they just didn't turn it off

I'm wondering why sv_pure is there in the first place. All it does is prevent people from using skins and changing sounds. Can you change textures with it to?

my team's lookign for backups, there's only 4 prerequisites:

1: have a mic
2: have Mumble (Mumble)
3: Be able to make matches (monday nights, anywhere from 8-9:30 EST start, run about half an hour.)
4: Be willing to practice and get better. Also know how to take a joke.
