PSA: You can disable maps rendering in Pyroland but keep the other effects by creating a configuration file called mtp.cfg in

Program Files\Steam\steamapps\<youraccount>\team fortress 2\tf\cfg

and pasting this into it

Also I loving love the Scorch Shot, the loss of ignition crits is annoying, but the whole "ignites people and knocks back around where it hits" thing makes up for it

No, the Equalizer is still the Equalizer.

The Escape Plan is the result of the Equalizer's abilities being split.

It's random, you always get a crate and can have a random chance of getting one of the new items.
