He must be a very stuffty Highlander soldier if he's using the Bad Box. In Highlander, you either pocket the heavy or soldier as medic. The Black rooster is a terrible, terrible weapon to use just in general. He'll get his medic killed because he doesn't have that fourth rocket.

You don't pocket the soldier in HL lol. The reason he uses it is so that when rubberbanding he doesn't take away heals from other players that need it.

The Black Box lets the soldier be on the battlefield longer without dying. It is not a 100% combat weapon.

that's the only weapon i really use on soldier, and it's my best class. The only other weapon I would use is stock rocket launcher because the other ones suck pretty hard.

The secondary weapon however, I have a hard time deciding on. Righteous bison is alright, concheror is a fine too, but I don't see myself being good at all without full rage.

I like me some Mantreads.

Rocket jumper mantreads and Equalizer.

I normally use either buff banner or gunboats, sometimes shotgun and very occasionally bison.
Backup is amazing if the other team is using kritz (it cancels out crits and changes them to reg dmg)
I use mostly stock for primary, sometimes black box.
And escape plan for melee. :)
All strange or vintage if there's no strange version ('cept for backup/bison)

secondary is either the gunboats or the reserve shooter
melee is either the escape plan, pain train, or market gardener
