Read the new comic.
I had no words, I was busy having my jaw in the basement.

Red and Blu died, what now? Since the classes are mercenaries

Red and Blu died, what now? Since the classes are mercenaries

Okay, people, here's the thing:

Blood Brothers was set "some time in the future", which means it takes place some time after the events of the gameplay in Team Fortress 2. In the universe we currently play in, Redmond and Blutarch are still alive so this isn't a problem for RED and BLU. They're still in charge and fighting over gravel.

The only impact this has on the game is whatever this MvM thing ends up being. We don't know anything about what it is, what will happen, or what we as players will be doing. "Oh but it's robots and we have t-" No. We don't know that. For all we know it may actually take place at the same place in the timeline as TF2 is already in and end up being a previous attempt from Gray Mann (that is, before he murders them in Blood Brothers) to cease his brothers' quarrel.

They died.. or did they?

They got knifed. I would assume the not-dyin' machines were built to only prevent death via the aging process and not fatal stab wounds. Blutarch was visibly worried about being stabbed (he pleaded Gray not to do it) and unless Radigan implemented some sort of Medigun-like quality into the machines they are both really most sincerely dead. Gray stuck around afterward as well to stare menacingly at the Mann Co. building and would probably have noticed if either of them suddenly came back to life. He's a pretty smart guy, after all.

I've noticed the pickaxe thing might be a reference to Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.

Oh god I didn't know they were planning mvm for 2 years.

This whole thing confuses me. Also I predicted robots would come to TF2, but no General Omega said no that what happen.
