Got a ransom dishonoured last night. If theres one thing in the game that i hate its that. I dont care about getting blown up or whatever but when you give someone 50 mill you expect to keep your ship.

The game isn't about colonization.
However there already are planetary colonies you can setup, but they are basically just assembly lines you can build on a planet to manufacture/refine something.

I've tried it, and must say, while impressive with graphics and crud like that, I had no clue what in the hell I was doing. The "learning curve" thing on page one made me laugh because of how epicly true it was.
