Interesting day today.
Went on a roam near Amarr space in T1 frigs due to boredom. Found a small POS bash going on, warped in on the POS, on top of a Revelation, Oracle and some stealth bombers. They all warp away immediately.
We continue roaming and richarding around and whatnot, then come back to the POS. Nobody is there but the people are still in local, we ask if we can join their bashing, revelation pilot joins our skype call, he says he doesn't want any reds cause he just recently moved to this area and is really jumpy with his dread because he's been getting jumped by some alliance lately. After some chatting he says we should go on an op together some time, when hes not doing such a high risk op with a capital on field.

holy crap, some badger warped into my belt and spawned a dread guristas plunderer and 3 saboteurs while i was mining with my retriever

killed them all with 4 hobgoblin 1s and found a dread guristas stasis webifier worth 35 million in the wreck

that's 7 or 8 hours of mining

Whats you guys opinion on the whole industrial manufacturing ordeal?
Worth it?
I can put away 150mil as startup cash. But looking for some info first.
To be honest mission running is a boring source of income, i'd like something more passive so I can do other things with my time. From what I know of manufacturing it seems like a decent alternative, but i'd like some numbers perhaps and a personal opinion from someone in the trade or someone with decent knowledge on it.

To be completely honest the only thing I do in eve is buy a plex, sell it then spend all of that isk getting blown up in pvp. All the other parts of the game are so mind numbingly depressive to me I just cant make my own isk.

Of course when i can i fit my pvp ship with a salvager because player t2 cruisers drop some hefty salvage.

Some handicaps in tiny Minmatar frigates who overly thought themselves as total badasses decided to pick with me. After they launched a few missiles onto my brutix, I picked them all off easily with my Hammerhead II drones.

Damn. I wish I had at least 100mil so I can buy a megathron then fit it.

Holy stuff. 2 dumbforgets in a brutix and a myrmidon warped in on my hulk and attacked me. However, they were stupid enough to not use a proper fitting, including a warp disruptor/scrambler. I managed to get out of there with 20% shields. I guess some people are early for Hulkageddon.
