front wheel drive is for queers

Hey, must student car is FWD! But I passed the exam on the test course, so now I have to practice 20 hours in traffic before taking the next exam.

deloreans are awesome for how they look, but the reliability and build quality of the original dmc-12 was laughable; they'd rust, wouldn't start, all that fun stuff.

DeLoreans really didn't have very much power. The US version only had 130hp. Lol.
which wasn't bad for when it came out, tbh. 1980s mustang had like 140 horsepower with the v8. the 2011 DMC-12 can be bought with a 197 horsepower engine, or the standard one.

lotus on why they made a fwd car:
Quote
The choice of front wheel drive is unusual for a sports car, but according to Lotus sales literature, "for a given vehicle weight, power and tyre size, a front wheel drive car was always faster over a given section of road. There were definite advantages in traction and controllability, and drawbacks such as torque steer, bump steer and steering kickback were not insurmountable."[1]

awd isn't fun to drive through corners, it's like the car is locked onto a rail on the road. fwd tries to fight you with understeer, and rwd fights you by making you fishtail.

Apparently you can fix that on an automatic by both breaking and accelerating at the same time while you turn, but that can't be good for the transmission or breaks.

not if you have to drive in heavy traffic; i wouldn't give up my automatic slushbox for a manual considering how heavy traffic can get here.
