edit: well somehow i burned down the house, right when she said that something was burning i turned off the oven but it somehow spread...and i got burned...i died while on fire and fighting off zombies :(

I have yet to see fire in this game.

so, if you barricade the door that shotgun guy goes though, and then look at him though the window you survive him shooting.
is that a glitch or something?
And now he's protecting our house from zombies. AWESOME

Heres how my first game went:

1. Do the tutorial

2. Walk down to the little cafe

3. See a whole crapload of zombies

4. THey run after me

5. I didnt notice i had my shotgun equipped, accidentally shot the zombies

6. A million more come out of nowhere

8. Broken bones, bleeding, and Agony, not to mention Exhursion

9. Try to run for my life into a house that has only one hole in its fence

10. Barricade doors, zombies break the door in 10 seconds.

11. RUn out the back door, surrounded from all sides

12. Fire ever last shot i have from my shotgun trying to kill them all

13. Die a painful death.

the on thing i don't like is the long intro that can't be skipped

how do i board up windows? i couldn't figure it out

I have reached the point where I can live forever almost. My fortress has not been breached, fourth floor of the apartment complex. I am constantly scavenging for food, I have at least 2 weeks worth as of now. Enough batteries to keep my flashlight on for months, weapons, weapons everywhere, and enough medication galore.

I will survive.

well done, i got a question for you, since you seem to be the expert, how do i board up windows? the only thing i can do with wood hammers and nails is make barricades...

You put the hammer in the main weapon slot, and then you pick up the wood and click the window.


After some vigorous food scavenging, I saw the zombie horde shifting toward my home. Ran up four flights of stairs and I now have barricaded myself in my room. If I hear knocking, I will begin either barricading myself further, or I will fight to the death.
