Author Topic: What was your worst injury?  (Read 3880 times)

I can't remember A serious injury, But I can remember a stupid one.

A few days ago I tripped and fell on my right arm, It hurt so bad and I was laughing crazy.
I then crawled on the floor from the bathroom to where my brother was playing his xbox. I mumbled "Help" only to hear him laugh as crazy as I was and Say "You're fine."

I've never been seriously injured, ever. :cookieMonster:
Then get out. :D.

Then get out. :D.

But I have had a worst injury before, everyone has.

This isn't my worst, but I was hanging onto a cart at Lowe's, and it fell backward. I fell backward too. The cart hit my chest, and knocked the wind out of me for about 25 seconds. Way more terrifying than the skull thing. Actually, the broken skull is kinda fuzzy. One, I was four when it happened. Two, my mom says I was in such a daze, I was just staring blankly into space. She says other kids crowded around me, but I don't remember seeing anyone...

this is all copy-pasta lol
When I was a security gaurd.
Was downtown Minneapolis. This construction site across the street from Loring Park. They were turning an old hospital into a nice apartment building.
My job was to walk around that block checking the fence and gates few times a night.
then stroll up and down the main halls and under ground parking, just listening for trespassing bums and stoner kids.
Was a very easy job, and was fun. night shift was hard to get use to.

Well I walked in on some guys who had driven their pickup truck into the garage. Someone must have broken in a random window or door, and then went down to let the other 2 guys in the garage.
They were loading up on the copper pipes and some power tools that were around.
They seen me and went to take off, but the garage door wouldn't reopen lol. It only opens from a subcontractor's utility switch on the stairwell (as the place is still in development)
So 2 guys ran up some stairs and likely out a random window somewhere.
The guy with his truck just pulled a gun on me, i had mine out of course.

::NOTE:: us rent-a-cops dont arrest people. we dont need to identify ourselves, or read you any rights. We fire at will if we need to.
although for lawsuit reasons, there is some logic required to what is necessary to do.

i shot 4 times, as he shot about the same. and i turned around to run back up my stairs.
i got hit in the back >.>

I flipped off my bike head first when I was 4
it hurt and i had to go the the ER
and get an IV
/vomit
I stayed in there for 4 days.
I didnt get to watch tv because she didnt turn it on.
/facepalm

I slipped and my leg shattered like glass.

I got surgery to fix it, though. c:

I once fell down into a round metal ring for a fire, it was covored by tall grass so I didn't see it, back up, tripped and ended up with a nasty loving bruise, the bruise took over 3 months to heal.

Broke the old right arm here when I was 3, fell into a pool that was just dug out and tiled. No water was in it, I feel that's needed to avoid stupid questions.

I once fell down a flight of steps head over heels and the steps were made of cement. :D

This explains so much.

2 things.
First when i was in 6th grade a kid was golfing in the middle of the street. Calls my name and hits the ball. Ball hits my nose breaking my nose. Blood is everywhere and i almost slipped into a coma from blood loss.
Second. When i was 13. I walked across a highway to get to my bus stop and i got hit by an SUV going 55 mph. Broken left femur broken left wrist, major head trauma, and one of my insides damaged >.> 4 nights and 5 days at the hospital. took me 2 months to learn how to walk again.. all just to go to school -.-

Why the forget did you not look both ways? Especially on a loving highway. Did your parents not tell you anything?

Also, went on a ride at Typhoon Lagoon in Orlando, and was on a body slide. I was on my back, craned my neck to look up, and pulled my neck muscle. I couldn't move my neck for the rest of the trip, and a lifeguard had to get me out of the pool.

I was walking down a rocky road with Long crutches upside-down using them as Stilts. I fell down and a rock went inside my knee cap.
