It's not a virus. I'm updating drivers right now and hoping that'll fix it.

Someone made a fix about this. Look up your problem, there's a facepunch thread about it, and a link to a fix.

You need DSL mod.

No you don't. I installed vanilla and I have the sounds.
EDIT: Also, someone please start a vanilla server with Hamachi or whatever you call it. :S

I can't find any source on Google that it's abandonware. I'd rather not risk it.
