Why do people make "RP" servers?

RP and RPG are two different things.

RPs are just fast and lazy to make. Most of these consist of noob family/airport/restaurant/blah RPs.
RPGs have an evented/scripted system to go by. Stuff like Jail and City RPs.

That is an "RPG" not an "RP". Supposedly they are two completely different things.

I've only ever seen one good RP, that was Knaz's Zombies in the **Bluezone. Sadly it died off due to inactivity a couple months ago.

That was THE ONLY good RP I have ever been in. It was so incredibly fun. I remember spending 10 hours in the server one day. At times the lag was just unbearable though. So I assume that BluZone 2 is dead too? Any chance I could have the save? How about the first one?

Well, with some big exams of late I put it to rest so I could focus on my studies. It was seriously chewing away at my time, that. I was basically addicted. Every now and again I open up Blockland and work on it, because the sewers were never finished...

I am still, technically, working on it... But that's hardly anything... The sewers are actually done, they just need detail.

No saves, 'coz I took them to the grave with me.

I would have really wanted the BluZone 2 save. I still got the old BluZone 1 save but it's missing sewers.

Yeah, the sheer size of it takes ages to save... Makes me wonder what it's like for Bones4 and the Titanic...

Hey, not all RP servers are bad. Take Gunner's post-apocalyptic RP server for example. When it was up, it was almost always full, and it was considered the best post-apocalyptic map ever built on blockland.

Plus those darn Bluzone prints were never used, nor my plans for Highway 22.
