Anti-matter Cannon! It spawns a slow moving loud buzzing ball of anti-matter that, when it collides, releases a charge of blinding catastrophic energy!

An idea for an energy pack.
Sounds like a certain Big Freakin Gun I heard about... :p

Big Spider boss and flying flaming skulls everywhere!

someone said this looks like your type of weaponry so whatever

also, if you use blender, mind explaining how the forget to use it in a PM?

Well, explaining something like blender in a pm might get VERY lenghty. Videos could be a better solution. I know of some video tutorials that I've got from the apple Itunes app store. But there should be a plethora of tutorials for variant topics on Blender on the internet.

Could you send me the ones you saw? The first time I tried searching for one only resulted in videos that were either very bad quality or confused me more

If you mean the itunes ones. They are by "svmsoft.". There are three apps, two of which deal with a version of blender that I use, if not the same version. I think the third one covers a more recent version of blender. Apparently, from what I read in the description of the apps, there are atleast 65 videos in one app and, 52 videos in the other. You don't need to be online to watch them either. This means that the apps are sizey but if you've got the space, why not. Quick access to multiple video tutorials on multiple topics anywhere you please.

107 videos is a lot...

Could you list some/all of the tools needed for basic Blockland-type modeling?

on a side note, I should take this to modification discussion

What I've used for basic Blockland modeling:
Pencil drawn concept art (The side of the weapon).
A method to digitally attain that image to use as a background in the blender 3d view.
I've used an iphone camera and dropbox and even directly getting the image from the iphone.

I suggest that you study the standard "blocko" look before modeling.
Basically this, look at how the blockhead's arm doesn't extend too far from his body. This makes the gun look stumpy if you wish the gun to be to scale with a blockhead. Look at Bushido's model style. Notice what level of detail his weapons have. Generaly, try to make your model as "semi-flat" as possible. For example, if you want a round barrel for a gun, don't make some 32 edged circle. That is too much. Instead, try a hexagonal or octagonal cylindar for the barrel. It gives the barrel a round look but still looks "blocky". Also, make sure your gun isn't too long either. Remember, "Stumpy, low poly, short, and semi-squarish/squarish shape". I've noticed that people tend to be too realisticaly scaled in their weapon model and it doesn't look good. The gun needs to look like it fits a blockhead.

I have done a bit of brown townysis of the style of modeling and have preplanned the models accordingly. What I mean by tools is the blender tools/skills.

Thanks for the tips, I might ask you more questions through PM's later :P

Man I really want to try and model/script. But I feel that between my HP mini laptop and a oldish computer with 100+ things downloaded on it (not all by me) it'll be easier said then done.

Ah well.

On topic.
Should you really be starting a new pack when you haven't finished updating most of the weapons and the WW2 pack still looms in the shadows?
I mean it's OK. You can do what you want, I just feel that progress will be slow.

Special Ops comes after the revamp and exclusive pack. I think WWII was brought up AFTER the themes were discussed.

Ya, you started on it after spec ops, got the beta out for WW2, and then we went to revamp

Does anyone have an idea for new names for the heavy pistols?

Imma firin mah lazer!

Oooh. Can't tell if that's the actual projectile or... wait, is that the Light RL?!?

As for heavy pistols... Light and Heavy Slide Magnums? (Light and Heavy is B and A, respectively). They're pretty strong by themselves, and considering the slide action, why not the name? :p

.45 Semi-Auto and Auto

Pistol doesn't work in that sense since its more of a heavy handgun and not a light weapon. Also, while you're at it improve its accuracy and bullet speed, currently its eh.
