About
Löve2D may not be a game, but it is still pretty cool. Basicly it is a game engine/framework written in C++. The language it uses for development is Lua but it is open source too, so you can edit the C++.  Love2d.org for more info.

Instructions
Install latest build from here. Make a main.lua file, compress it, make .zip into .love, open it.

To make standalone ( Mac):
Right click love app file, duplicate and rename it to whatever. Right click the dup, open contents/resources and put your .love file in there. Go back to info.plist ajd change all the LOVE stuff to your things name.

Works on Windows, Mac and Linux. Discuss Löve2D and your lovely creations here!

I used a game recorder called "Taksi" to take screenshots.
Where did you learn lua.

http://www.lua.org/manual/5.1/

And I learned a big chunk of it's syntax from the Roblox lua tutorials.

You're not cool by saying that you know.

The tutorials are worded in a way that makes them much easier to understand than other tutorials, and following them helps you to learn lua in general.

It's not like I told you to play the game itself.

It is not that.
I have a kid in my school who plays roblox... Draws roblox... Talks about roblox... Comes to school with roblox stuff taoed to himself. I had a nightmare that i became like him.
Thus i never interacted with roblox again.
