I would much rather be shot or stabbed then scoop up dead bodies. :c
On Topic: You should consider how you might be like after you are out of the Military. Most people come out with PDSD (atleast, that's what I've heard), probably something you don't want to deal with with nor your family. You also might fall to the habit of smoking, heavy drinking, or aggressive behavior... something else you might want to consider. If you think that you and your family will be able to cope with it, I think you should go for it. It's a great opportunity, though I have no plans of joining myself.
