Bro, I'm sorry if I offended you about the room mate stuff, don't join the military about it, stuff.

I'd say go for it, and you're right the benefits are very good.

i'm telling you, coast guard. it's like the army except you do something productive and you never have a guilty conscience from killing someone. imo the only way i would fight a war is if it was to defend myself, my family, or my friends from harm.

My brother is in the National Guard. He's in Afghanistan right now and he says he is very Home Sick.

Military I heard is like Giving your whole life away. This is just from me.

I'm sorry what?
20-20 vision and perfect eyes. This statement is redundant

east coast, can i have a high five?

Marines or Air Force.

I'm not sure what branch yet. I'm not sure that I'll even do it yet, but the benefits are amazing...  and seem to outweigh the risks. I've never talked to anyone who joined and regretted it.

Sounds like you are trying to convince yourself more than us. I personally wouldn't go for a career in the military, even if it isn't dangerous its not only physically hell but also mentally stressful. Yeah, I know there are specialist branches but in the end its still the military.

Holy stuff. Bones, me too. I'm joining after my 4 years of college are done though. Still debating on weather joining the Army as an Apache gunner or the Air Force as an A-10 pilot. I have 20-20 vision and perfect depth perception and crap so I should be set.
Unfortunitly they barely use A-10 anymore.
Resort to F-22 Strike Raptors.

Why should he have to convince anyone other than himself? We're not his parents or anything, why should he convince us of anything?

If I were to join a branch of the military, I'd want to join the Air Force or Navy.
