Author Topic: Fable III - Lol, permanent cosmetic damage  (Read 2365 times)

Oh dear lol. This thread is awesome.

Not that one, the one with the big mole/goat stuff on his head.

Oh god lol

I actually liked fable 3 better then 1 in some ways, Apart from the fact that the combat is even worse somehow, The game is hideously short the performance on pc isn't that great and it's too easy overall.

I liked TLC the best, closely followed by Fable II, followed by Fable III. The combat in TLC was okay, it was really easy to focus on combat with one weapon, however archery was only really useful outside close combat unless you had a crossbow, and those absolutely sucked. Melee was nice however, and I liked how if you weren't strong enough to carry a heavy weapon you just dragged it behind you. The story in Fable/TLC was absolutely wonderful, and it felt like more than just a journey to kill the bad guy, with some emotional aspects weaved through it as the hero tries to **SPOILER ALERT** cope with the loss of his village and family(although it was totally unoriginal in terms of motivation for the hero).

Fable II was a bit of a step down I feel, in terms of story. Combat was vastly vastly improved, allowing for heroes to, if they desired, easily switch between all three disciplines whilst in combat. This was more true to the concept of the three Hero disciplines as a hero needed to master all three, something that was hard to do in Fable TLC. Occupations were also added, which acted as a nice little minigame to take away from all the stress of being a hero and downing the big villain.

Fable III just sucked.

It was a bruise lol

I actually found archery to be awesome in close combat with a good longbow and skill training. I was killing minions in 2 hits with Skorm's bow on my evil rogue character.

Also, Skorm and Avo were so much cooler than Shadow and Light. I prefer for gods to have some identity rather than just darkness and light.
Fable 3 did have a cool villain, much cooler than Lucien but not as cool as Jack. Jack was cool just because he was basically a god. I really wish they did something with him in Fable 3 to account from the letter from your sister that you can get in Fable 2.

If you do some bored research on the wiki, the gods Skorm and Avo were invented by a trader who noticed the stron presence of Will in the respective areas of the two temples. One gave the visitor good thoughts and the other gave the visitor evil thoughts.
Also it's rather ironic that the pure, good god demanded monetary donations from his worshippers. How very corrupt.

Oh and this thread is now about comparing Fable, TLC, Fable II, and Fable III to each other.

It would have been hard to keep this thread solely about scarring.

BUMPDATE
After discovering that I had not, as previously stated, deleted this poor character, I dug him up again and conjectured to acquire a close-up account of the unfortunate detriment so conspicuously perched upon his brow.

Because you all wanted a close-up. How disgusting.

Edited with awesome grammar.

Oh sweet jesus. That's gross.

See the look on that poor man's face.
He's embarrassed. How could you put him through this?

...I feel bad now D:

Is this game worth buying?

It's not as good as Fable II(way behind Fable TLC of course), but it still is fun. I'd give it a try.

And it has permanent cosmetic damage, same as the previous titles. Although it seems a tad more severe in this title.

Well there's not really any "give it a try."

I either buy it or not.

Jesus Christ, is that his brain?
