Author Topic: Bird flew into our window.  (Read 1736 times)

Happens all the time. How did the glass break though? Was it an eagle or something?

There are bird guts on my sister's bedroom window.
okay someone must have thrown a brick with a rope on and then thrown some dead bird

Yeah but how? What type of bird was it?

Not really sure, I didn't see it all that well. It was grey.

ask whoever took care of it

It's a dove.
It must have been a pretty large dove, then. Not that I think doves can get very large.

If the glass was outside, then the bird flew into from the inside.
CSI?

Glass shatters so it could just fall out the windows too.

Not precisly.  The bird could have sent some glass into the house, and the remaining glass shards were balancing for a short period of time, then they fell outside.

Ontopic:

Dove?? HA!  Try having an owl try to catch something on the window and go through it... Anyway, pretty believable.  If a dove hit one of the windows in my house, the whole window could break, because we have very old windows.

Welp, looks like it's time for dinner.  Let's fry us up some fowl!

We have ducks, and they hit the windows quite often. No windows have ever broken though, they are big windows, and no double glazing.

Hahaha. That's hilarious, at my dads apartment in downtown chicago, the only birds that fly that high are hawks usually (it's a top-floor penthouse so yeah), and one day when he was out of town, I decided to go to his place and just hang out and get away from everything and feel like a high-class O.G, so I go there, and when I'm laying in bed to go to sleep, there's a huge bang on the door to the balcony, I go to the kitchen to see and there's a crack on the glass door and a hawk laying on the balcony. I was like o_o
