Everyone's going to be rushing the new weapons obviously.Also Splendid Screen is a 100% upgrade from the Chargin Targe, as well as many other direct upgrades.
Splendid screen has less resistance and doesn't look like it builds up crits.

The Detonator is a secondary weapon for the Pyro. It is a Flare Gun with an elongated barrel taped in place, an extra curved hammer and spiral paint designs on the magazine. It will be released with the Über Update. The weapon fires projectiles which deal slight damage on contact with an enemy as well as ignite them. Should a flare directly connect with a member of the opposing team who is already on fire, Mini-Crit damage will be inflicted by the projectile and the target's afterburn duration will be reset. Pressing secondary fire while the flare is in flight will cause it to detonate, creating a small explosion which damages and ignites enemy players caught in it. The knockback from the explosion can also be used to Flare jump in a manner similar to rocket or sticky jumping. Pyros wielding the Detonator suffer an additional 20% damage from their own explosive weapons. The Detonator was previously tested in the Team Fortress 2 Beta.
They seem to post the new things on the blog at around 5-7 PM EST. I'd expect the update would drop then too.
