I had someone download this file using IE: http://www.minecraft.net/download/Minecraft_Server.exe?v=1308610154966
IE downloaded it as Minecraft_Server.exe?v=1308610154966.
This is outrageous, the server sends "Minecraft_Server.exe", hidden away in the header, to the client. All other browsers download it properly. Why the forget is IE the only browser that can't do stuff correctly and disobey every single networking standard there is?
only problem i ever had with internet explorer was that it always opened directly linked pngs in mspaint but thats probably from me loving around with the settings
if it wasn't for the security holes i would have never left internet explorer 7.
ie7 ran faster than firefox, loaded faster, used less system resources, and i could simply copy and paste images from websites instead of firefox's
handicapped convoluted download system where you have to do "save image as..." where you have to manually point where you want to save the file rather than simplying selecting image, pressing ctrl-c, alt-tabbing to the folder, and pressing ctrl-v.
What the forget is opera?
