I think I used Snowbreeze to jailbreak my iPhone the most recent time.

I've tried other jailbreaking methods with my iPod Touch 2G, but I found redsn0w to be the best out of all of them, especially since it currently supports all firmwares and almost all devices.

Greenpoison ftw, works best on 4.2.1, but as I said I still love redsn0w as well.

I can sort of agree with you, I don't really like most of the themes. I do like the Glasklart theme though, as you can do some pretty cool stuff with it since it's transparent.

You have to have jailbroken if you're on the 2G, then enable the iOS 4 features (there's an option both in redsn0w and something you can download in Cydia), then it should be in Settings.
