Also even if you decide to use the top combo that's only 10 levels which at sand rats is like an hour.

coming from someone who has done 70-80 in sand rats twice, I can tell you it's about 3-5 hours depending on your class. not an hour. that's ridiculous. o_o

Shadow Partner requires repotting Summon Rocks, which takes longer than it should. Meso Explosion and Pickpocket can't be mastered for a while, which I have been putting it off. Not only that, all the damage is accumulative and far lower than the combined attacks of other jobs. I have been in games where my total attack is almost as much as one attack another job spams much quicker. Although I guess that makes us even.

You don't need to use shadow partner.

You are putting off your best skill combo, that's like me putting off Ice strike for thunder spear. Thunder spear is powerful but its extremely slow and is no where near the ability of Ice strike, to even use it efficiently you need Spell Booster.


In theory with three mesos your meso explosion hits enough % damage to add up to 810% damage.

I really can't stress enough that meso explosion is THE BEST 3RD JOB SKILL IN THE GAME!

EDIT: For the record I don't think any other class even has a skill that hits 810% damage on one monster, and can be done on up to 10 monsters.

EDIT2: well after Jump Glacial chain does more then that on 12 guys, but that's a fourth job skill, and in your fourth job you get a skill that adds even more damage to meso explosion.

Shadow Partner adds to all attacks, so everyone tells you it's required. Also, 810% is an accumulative ideal. Not a definite.

and you'll lag in the city that you start in if you do the resistance class
