we're all talking to each other over the internet. it's not going to matter if you tell us why you got it confiscated. im probably guilty of much worse things anyway

Just tell us and we can help you.
We're the Blockland forums, tell us, we'll laugh over it, and you'll gain respect.

I don't think he wants you to laugh over it nor does he want respect.
At least he didn't state that in the OP.

break into his house and steal it or get your mom to give it to you.

While he's at work take it.
Although, he'll prolly kick you out.

Convince your mom to give it back to you since you're a grown adult.

When you do get it back, format it and put a clean install of Windows (or Linux, up to you) if you're paranoid he's doing something like putting a keylogger on it or something.

You're going to college right? You'd have plenty of computer access there.

I have to finish my portfolio to finish applying for art school. I do my best work via my computer.

I don't know how to help you unless you tell us why it was confiscated. But you obviously don't want to do that, so I guess sorry I can't help.

It's cool.

It's hard to quote multiple people from my 3DS, sorry guys.

listen pal...just

not happening. I cannot find any way it would affect any of this anyway. It's not something I want to talk about

1. going to jail isn't cool

2. my parents are divorced and I live with my mom (enlarged because this voids multiple posts here)

HAHAHAHAHA NO.
Don't tell us Regulith, at least not publicly. People are just going to be loving starfishs.

Also, I might know why you got it taken away, but I won't say it because you don't want to tell anybody, and it would cause an uproar probably.

So are my parents, and they live 150 miles away, but that doesn't stop my dad from helping me with making my mom give back my stuff.

Do you have photos of yourself?, videos?...Your sister?...your mother?

My mom has minimal power over him.

and if you mean what I think you mean by "photos" then no

Hate to say it but it sounds like you might not get your laptop back at all. :\

tell your dad to give you your loving computer back or you will call the police. if your parents are divorced and your mom bought the computer with her credit card, even if you payed her in cash, it's theft. if he refuses, call the loving police. what's he going to do? if he breaks it he goes to jail, if gives it back you get your computer back. you're smart enough to remove any viruses or key loggers he might have put on there. also, did you get caught storing pictures of your snake on there?

I'm trying to avoid completely raging and/or getting the law involved.

no.
