Author Topic: Saved dupe GUI  (Read 1218 times)

so basically every time i save a dupe i always lose/forget what it is and then its lost forever, what im suggesting is a simple GUI with all of the dupes you have saved on the servers names (or even you click it and it loads) so that we will never again lose things due to being stupid :D

EDIT: for the last time LOADBRICKS>DUPLICATIONS is NOT what im asking for! that is only for MY server and what i want is it to be used on every server! ive had to respond to about 4 people already saying to do this and more and more people keep saying it! this IS NOT what im asking for!

The only difference between macros and dupes are the process in which the record dupes, and replay them. Other than that, they both do basically the same thing.

And there is your problem.

esc -> load bricks -> change map to duplications -> look at list of names

esc -> load bricks -> change map to duplications -> look at list of names
that doesnt work, i thought it would but it only has the dupes from my own server and cant help when im building in another server
(especially since im making 3 cities at once >.>)

dupes save as .bls files

find them

Just look in saves/Duplications until you find the name if the dupe you want to load.
Then /loaddup namehere.

That's because you probably have to be able to load a build to load a dupe.

it only has the dupes that i saved on my own server so it is completely useless when im working on other servers

Well that's probably because it's server-sided.

Dupe something, record a macro in which you plant the dupe, and save the macro with the macro saver. Would that work?
