Cry about it somewhere else. I personally think Master Chief sucks.

That's your hipster bullstuff idea of a valid opinion.

I seriously doubt you have even played a Halo game, besides maybe Halo 3 which was the most hyped game and by far run-of-the-mill in an industry its predecessors pretty much created. If you weren't there when Halo: Combat Evolved was first released, you wouldn't understand how simply mind-blowing the game was and how every other FPS since then has been following its example. I had it on the original Xbox and the PC, and the game was so popular that hardcore gamers setup an online network for Xbox allowing you to play Halo: CE online before there was even such a thing as Xbox Live.

Then you had Halo 2, which improved on all of Halo: CE's shortcomings and was easily the absolute best console shooter of its day. handicapped story-line aside, the multiplayer experience was unparalleled. There was simply not a better game out there. Everyone was playing it, hardcore an casual gamers alike, and it is credited for starting the FPS craze in the western gaming market.

Then you have Halo 3, which was shat out by Microsoft Studios in a year to try to capitalize on the legendary status that Halo: CE and Halo 2 had achieved. Halo 3 was okay, but it was mediocre, because it was using the same formulas that it had been executing so well for the last 6 years, but now since EVERY fps out there was now borrowing game design concept from the first two Halo games, it made Halo 3 seem generic.

Basically, Halo is suffering from Seinfeld is Unfunny, and hipsters that hate the franchise because it's popular isn't helping it.

Battlefield Bad Company.

Battlefield Bad Company.

the bad company games are even worse then the halo games lol.
5 minutes of linear shooting with infinite stupid AI and a fake squad of guys shooting into the sky for appearances.
then 10 minutes of scene.
then load another 5 min linear run.
then 10 min of scene.

at least other shooters have open world play.

They're not that great.

Nah :C I just like messing with destructible environments

inb4nick

Nick who?

Nah :C I just like messing with destructible environments

Total gimmick, besides you can't even destroy the rubble or destroy an entire base. Oh and each building has pre animation break away designs, it's not random with physics. Pieces also only break at specific zones that you hit.
