Who is everyone's favorite champs?
Lux, Ahri, Cassiopeia, Kayle.

I could train you...  :cookieMonster:
Sounds like fun.

Also, my favorite champions are:
Mordekaiser
Malzahar
Udyr
Ziggs

Who is everyone's favorite champs?

Maokai, Kayle, Leona, Orianna.

Orianna nerf made me sad.

Not that I really play anymore, but eh.

Who is everyone's favorite champs? Mine have got to be Skarner, Brand, Warwick, and Trundle.

Favorite overall is Master Yi/Lee Sin

Trying to get better with Xin Zhao/Ezreal and just picked up Cho' Gath and I like him pretty well

I played Orianna yesterday, 3/7/15 victory. I'm not a very good Orianna but she seems pretty okay. Xin kept diving me through our whole team while the rest of their team ran away and my team would chase their team instead of saving me, until about the 5th time he did it. So she has a distinct weakness against DPSs with blinks, but overall pretty fun to play.

You should be ashamed that you couldn't carry a bot game
It was Dominion.

I can't defend and capture 5 points at once.

How important would you guys say runes are. I'm thinking of saving up ~22k for a full tier 3 set.

Having a runepage full of attack speed, crit chance, crit damage or even hp per level can make you more threatening.

Important in PvP, because the opponents will have them. If you don't have them too, they'll have an advantage over you.

I just need to be so good that it doesn't matter.

I did the math once, but I forgot the exact number; having a full set of runes and masteries vs. no runes and masteries is roughly equivalent to an expensive tier 3 item. So if you have no runes, and everyone else is loaded with tier 3s, they basically start the game with an extra 1k-2k gold on you. A player with good farming skills will net about 12k over the course of 40 minutes on most champions.

A curious quirk of a game with a large player base and skill-based matchmaking is that it really doesn't matter all that much, since you will end up with an appropriate challenge either way. So does it matter? For getting a big Elo number and winning tournaments, yes. For just enjoying the game, no; your rating will automatically adjust so you're performing at the same level as your opponents either way. Because of this, I generally advise you only get runes to change the proportion of your effectiveness (e.g. to slant things more into cooldown because you enjoy spamming, or slant things into flat AD/AP/pen runes because you like going for first blood) rather than worry about changing your absolute effectiveness total.
