Whoops forgot why I stopped playing Blind pick.

"hey look someone picked gragas, and we have no ranged AD, i'll take ashe"
>gragas goes top with teemo
"um, i'm mid i guess?"
>mid vs trist
>can't farm or harass due to RJ, shaco, and twitch
other teammate: "wow trist you sure got a free farm there!"

Yeah blind pick just isn't worth playing in my opinion

It's annoying that blind players are dumber, because blind lets you build a much more solid team than random team draft. You don't have enough time to talk about picks and if you're the flexible one, too bad, you have 2nd pick and can't choose a good filler for any gaps your allies left in the team comp. You also can't rely on a good swap. Cross your fingers!

So yeah, I play blind. Fortunately my rating is high enough that people know the generally-accepted meta; no one would just up and 2-man top lane without saying something, nor would they usually just sit by while mid got ganked over and over by non-jungles without punishing them for leaving their own lanes by killing the turrets.

They are dumber though.

Playing on a smurf, Losing 10 games of 21. Wow seriously??
There's no point in having a smurf if you're going to play properly, because then the rating will just shoot up to close to your actual level and the point of even having a smurf is lost. I take care to keep a healthy loss rate on my own smurf, and perhaps he does the same.

edit: Also instant shutdown on everyone who says we're going to lose because I have smite

Also while playing on a new account to attempt to train a new friend to get used to the game...

Someone on enemy team played AP Alistar... Of course, I made fun of it. Both teams jump on me saying that I must be a gigantic noob. The enemy tristana even said "He scales off AP what do you expect him to build?" How ironic. I replied "Tristana scales on AP too. Where's your AP items?" Nothing was said in return.

You know you can make it so windows update doesn't just kick you in the face any time it decides you need an update.
I am an idiot for not knowing this. How?

Turn off automatic updates.

Le derp.
Looking into it on my own.

I'll have you know that I grew up on a farm.

So you rather play badly and get even worse enemies against you?

That's just ruining the game for new players, wow. Instead you should try to win every match, Pick expert when you start so youll get matchmade with other people who are leveling smurfs instead of new players.

What does creep score have to do with growing up on a farm?

It's not ruining the game for new players, because this game has skill-based matchmaking. I'm not ruining the game for anyone because on average, I am playing with average skill compared to all the other players in the game. I can't believe how many times I need to bring up the matchmaking; it's like people's brains are wired to not understand it intuitively.

[digression]In fact, I would recommend everyone get a smurf, to give them a little perspective; too often I see people trashing their allies verbally over minor tactical disagreements as if they have no idea how to play; these people do not properly remember how completely clueless many players are, because they're sheltered in their little rating-bubble. It's like high school social dynamics all over again, where people are starfishs to each other over stuff that simply does not matter enough. This kind of judgmental attitude is the #1 thing that tournament-winning LoL teams advise against; season 1's world champions said that their secret was nothing more than good teamwork and having fun together, and not worrying about little mistakes.[/digression]

Anyway my smurf is like level 25 now; I've more or less completely obliterated any selection made at account creation.

My and two friends were playing 3v3. At the end of the game, friend A blames us for loss. Look at graph. I was tanking, I took the most damage and dealt the second most. Friend B did most damage and tanked second most. Friend A was the AP carry and the only ranged and did less damage than a tank.

Really, friend A?
