it's free

not all torrents are for naughty things you silly

For faster download

You're going to probably have to patch it after you install it, so it won't matter too much.

You said "Its free" that normally would imply that you thought I was trying to illegally download it or something :o

A large 5/6th of the community is dumb. Play custom bot matches. This won't effect your win/loss ratio and there is nobody to criticize you. Keep in mind that bots don't behave like normal players, so don't get to comfortable playing against them. Simply use the custom mode to learn basic skills such as player movement, aiming skill shots, farming minions, pushing towers, etc. You can also learn some more advanced skills like "last hitting" (being the person to kill an enemy, be it player or npc, you get additional gold, giving you an advantage), ward placement (very key to avoiding ganks and getting kills), and general positioning.

When you think you're ready to play actual games, play the games to the best of your ability. Ignore rude comments and take to heart the helpful ones. Some things you just learn by playing the game (ie knowing when to dive a tower and when to fall back), so just keep playing.

I have a few more things to mention. First thing, everyone has a champion they play the best with. It's the champion the best fits their style of play. If you like to be in the midst of battle, you may want to pick a "tanky" character, someone like Alistar, Nunu, or Leona. Maybe you like picking up kills from afar, so your champion might be Ashe, Caitlyn, or Xerath. If you like to drop huge amounts of damage onto a player, then Annie is your champ. If you want to be sneaky, then you should grab Shaco, Twitch or Evelynn. Discover your playstyle, then pick your champ accordingly. While good players can do well with numerous champions, each player has that one that "fits like a glove".

Second thing, after you pick your champion, look up different build guides to know which items you should buy. It's more than just following a guide, however. Learn what each item does to improve the champ and why you'd want it. Learn other items too, sometimes you need to grab certain items due to the circumstances of that game.

Finally, Youtube videos can really help. By watching experienced players, you can pick up some serious tips and tricks that'll help you win games. For example, Alistar, Tristana, Singed, and Volibear all have abilities that "throw/push" other champions in a specific direction. If you're playing as one of these champions, you can use this ability to pick up some neat kills by flinging enemy champions into your turrets. Or, you can use the same ability to save a teammate (or yourself) to disrupt a chase.

Protip: Don't try to 1v1 tryndamere.

buy morde asap then buy any 6300 and you'll be rolling face in no time

Lol, I wish I had done this early. Morde is my fav.

EDIT: Last tip, watch the Champion Spotlights. They're really informative.
