how do you die 11 times as karthus

you have a waaaalll that sloooooows

also 0/12 udyr how did you win??

whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat
it might have to do with the enemy builds

cait decided to get MR/HP over attack speed
Lee Sin got last whisper meanwhile only nautilus had armor, rather than finishing off his atma's (i'm assuming that's what he was getting with his chain vest)
udyr's build doesn't make sense at all. It's 2 low tier damage items, a high tier damage item, and 3 defensive items.

oh and kayle's super almighty half support, half hybrid (trybid?) build with 65 CS.

soooo colten tried some PvP and did uh ..

*clears throat* anyway I went nasus and carried the team lol x_x

most of them were bot games. I recall playing maaaybe 2-3 PvP games with Colten being there
Wait what Ive played pvp before? I only recall bots

protip: don't bring a level 1 into a PVP game on your level 30

um ya we won a game last night .. o_o

protip: don't bring a level 1 into a PVP game on your level 30
Basically what it's like when I play with one of my friends. We do a team of 5 with all of them at >900 wins, and me at <100.

This is why the person who introduced me to LoL won't play with me. I'd be outclassed and he'd be embarrassed.

played a pvp game with jetlok. won. good stuff.

rolled faces as Sion. ran into their whole team, butchered a karthus' face open and then killed the leona followed by a yi and a malz. my team was right behind me so all went smoothly 8]

also I was running faster than a yi with boots, a PD and his ult popped. was funny stuff. triple phantom dancer is hilarious on Sion

also 0/12 udyr how did you win??
i did like 164 damage to turrets for whatever reason (and probably our heimer too). i have no clue what causes an ap carry to do that, but okay. when killed 4 of them in the most ridiculous way ever, we ran and cleared everything mid, including the nexus turrets. when udyr and kayle died, we ran into the remaining nexus and forgeted it in the starfish. i honestly could not believe it ever

Getting computer soon going to be able to play LoL again!!
kira very happy

don't be too AGGRESIVE

^

aggressive + 200 HP remaining = "pulling a colten"

or sometimes a jetlok depending on who I'm screaming at to back away from 2 champs at full health

i never did that
what i did do though was try to sandwich at a low level and barely walk towards mid when i had really low health

So I just played a game as Alistar where a Veigar on our team was the main source of damage. What I mean is, the technical term for the state he was in is something like "fed as stuff".

It was back and forth the whole time (52-53 before the following scenario, and just under an hour long when it was done), but it ended right after I got a Will of the Ancients as my fifth item. Why? The other team wasn't dumb, so they focused Veigar and killed him right after he had 100-0'd their top damage, hence why it was so even. I had gotten the WOTA for jokes to see how much he'd heal, but he ended up bursting someone and getting ALL of his hp back. Looked hilarious, and let Kog'Maw get quite a few kills near the end.

The 2 fights following the purchase were aces and sealed the deal.

I like Ryze, but he's probably most notable for being a favorite choice of players with Inappropriate Mid Acquisition Disorder.

Studies suggest that IMAD may be the most common lane-related disorder among LoL players, possibly even surpassing Jungle Instalock Disorder. Although research is ongoing, IMAD is generally believed to have two main causes: either a deep-seated desire to reach level 6 as fast as possible regardless of any tradeoffs that result as a consequence, or the ability to recognize sustainability and solo power as a requirement of mid, paired with an inability to recognize the necessity of an effective range no smaller than an AD carry's autoattack. Common symptoms of IMAD include feeding the enemy loads of minions with absolutely no risk or pressure to recall for health, and relying on jungler ganks as a crutch.

If you know someone with IMAD, or suspect you may have IMAD yourself because you keep getting zoned and the jungle won't loving help gg, there is hope: IMAD champions are effective in bottom lane at all levels of play, with or without help from a jungler. Here's a handy list of champions that are frequently favored by IMAD players. If you or someone you know frequently plays mid with any of the following champions, it may be potential Doing It Wrong, and an intervention with a pro may be required:
  • Akali
  • Annie
  • Kassadin
  • Katarina
  • Ryze

Lane-related disorders are particularly tragic, because they can occur even at moderately high levels of play to players who are otherwise highly skilled at their champion. Don't let this continue; please join the fight to raise awareness and help stop IMAD. Thank you.

edit: So I'm reading through the topic and that's the first I heard of the stealth rework whaaaaaat

I totally understand why they're doing it, but that doesn't mean I like it. Much like the Alistar rework, they're changing something that works perfectly fine for me in order to make the game better for the average player on the whole; I can't genuinely be upset for something that damages my play experience a little if it benefits the play experience of many, many other players quite a bit. I already was in the know that RIOT had been annoyed by stealth since at least a few months after release, which is why after twitch and evelynn, they never made any more "long stealth" champions: it simply could not be balanced for all skill levels, being either OP at the lowest skill levels or UP at the top, because it relied way too much on intelligent counter-play to stop stealthers instead of them having a lot of obvious and inherent weakness.

Unlike the Alistar rework - which rendered extinct an entire champion role so that people would have a champion they could concieve playing with minimal development time by the team vs. a brand-new champ - I'm not convinced that the stealth rework is going to be inherently bad or reduce the overall depth and fun of the game. It will be very different and there's a definite tendency to say "they changed it now it sucks" if you're a veteran, but if we stifle those feelings for a moment it could turn out all right. I don't envy them trying to make it work, since stealthers will now just take flash for ganks, but it could stabilize them, since they will need to be buffed to work at all under nerfed stealth, meaning that they will be less useless when not ganking.
