So for those of you who follow any of the brony musicians, namely Alex S., he's going to be releasing an EP soon. He uploaded a WIP version of "Life As We Know It," a song he's been working on with Eurobeat Brony (Odyssey), and just today he posted this amazing stuff.

I personally can't wait for his EP.

Better question:
If you could go to equestria via a portal you can create with your mind, and never forgetting you have the power to do so, would you want to stay human whenever you enter or be a pony version of yourself?

I would have to say human, even though learning how to use a new body might be fun, I wouldn't really want to lose any of my abilities and advantages as a human

Human.
I'd go around equestria and yell 'HURR THUMBSSS' at everyone I see.

Pony for sure

From that long explanation on why real-world universe travel would be bad that I never posted:

Think about how we here on Earth would react if some strange-looking beings just appeared here. There might be a few people looking to make friends with them, but the general consensus would likely be a combination of fear and uncertainty.

Even with Ponyville's run-in with Zecora, I don't think anypony would be ready for a visit like that. Zebras are one thing, [(essentially a different race)] humans are something completely different [(a new sentient species)].

Pony for sure

Basically exactly what I was thinking.

Even though it's all theories and speculation, we would never really know and that uncertainty makes me sad

/r/mylittlepony is undergoing some heavy discussion about overall quality, just read through the whole comment section for the State of the Subreddit Address and there are a lot more problems there than I thought...

I don't know anything about reddit, much less the subreddit, but can you inform us?

Pony, and going with what Reg said about disturbing the locals...

That and I don't look half bad as a pony :D

Reality travel is serious stuff...

A subreddit is just as it sounds; a subdivision of reddit. It's what each community, i.e. /r/mylittlepony and /r/science, is called.

Basically the following issues are being addressed:

  • People are making a lot of "blank posts", in which they use emotes from another part of reddit (for the most part /r/mylittleandysonic1) that can only be viewed with a script when not on that subreddit (namely the script I've been referring people on here to, My Global Ponies, or alternatively, My Reddit Ponies). People without these scripts just see a blank post and are essentially excluded from a discussion.

  • "Unsubstantial content" (there's a lot of controversy on this one about what qualifies as substantial)

  • "Circlejerking", in which people submit too much content about karma and comment too much about the karma system and not actual content (reddit runs on a voting system, known as upvotes and downvotes (alternatively, karma) so things with more votes rise to the top) (there's a lot of controversy on this one too because quite frankly the circlejerking is part of what makes /r/mlp such a friendly place)

  • New content spam (mainly when it's not new or even considered content)

  • Borderline NSFW content (/r/mylittlepony switched their NSFW tag with a spoiler tag, so any posts marked NSFW will instead show up as being a spoiler for the newest episode, more controversy on what's NSFW and what isn't)

Fortunately this is the MLP community we're talking about so everyone is having a nice, polite conversation about all this stuff
