so I'll try to keep this as short as possibleI don't know the entire story, but essentially, the original founder of BronyCon, Purple Tinker, is like vehemently against all other brony conventions, including the one that just happened this past weekend, Everfree Northwest. her reasoning is that these conventions have promoted bigotry and hate against the LGBT community (Tinker is a transloveual, male-to-female) and she has publicly voiced her opinions in places where she shouldn't have. now people are retaliating against her and calling her out on the fact that she's just biased because she heard rumors that a couple people might have said some nasty things about her or the LGBT community as a whole (and such rumors are completely false). so now she's going around bashing other conventions, trying to convince people not to attend them.very well-known brony musician (and a good friend of mine) DerpyGrooves, has taken a stand against this and almost the entire community is supporting him because if you have half a brain you can see right through Tinker's bullstuff.so yeah, not really anything of much interest, just the latest news.
