i could have been a lucky son of a bitch, filthy rich and wouldn't even NEED to work to go to college
or could have been born with literally nothing and not lived past 15

could have been born in the 1700s or even 2500s. i should just be filled with rage that i wasn't lucky enough to be born in a better future or setting just because others do

I hate to say this, but deal with it. Because it isn't changing. YOU have to make the difference if it isn't given to you. And very very few people are given that chance. Working towards making a difference is a much greater accomplishment, and is more rewarding, and you are generally more grateful towards it. You're still young, so don't waste it moping and hoping. Take action.

The thing about the future is that we honestly don't know if it will be better or worse. You could very legitimately be filled with rage at being born with absolutely nothing though. But I'm done talking now, I need to go simmer down somehow.
