Hey, good news is I figured out another way to get corporate Hasbro to notice someone.
Act offended. Act very, very offended.
I can't help but wonder what we could accomplish if we all picked up our phones and told Hasbro customer service that we were deeply offended by the removal of Derpy. We could prattle on about how depicting a character with a purely visual impairment shouldn't be a problem in our society, we could prattle on about... all sorts of things, I have some weird Zecora poem saved to my PC about why Derpy needs to be included.
We could play the overused "corrupting the children" card with a twist... they're being "corrupted" by NOT being exposed to diversity etcetra.
I am currently rambling on because I am under the foolish assumption that we can play someone's own hand against them, and it would probably never work.
But I can dream.
...and that's about all I can do given the circumstances lol
Unless I can get someone on another site to help me. Someone connected. Someone established. Someone who speaks and bronies snap to attention.
I can think of maybe two people. Tops.
And the first one didn't respond when I asked what programs they used for their artwork, either, so hopes are not high.
Uh... I should really stop posting this late, but I feel an absurd urge to share my evening madness with the world26 people tops.
"That's a very good plan, Haley, with only a few minor flaws... not the least of which is where we could even GET a jelly sandwich right now."
