Well... up to a point.
Friendship is Magic only started because some Hasbro director told Lauren Faust that they wanted to revive the MLP franchise.
That's what I was talking about when I asked you guys if you thought the original profit motive would ruin the show (an idea that was unimaginable a month ago).
The problem is that they can't leave well enough alone, and they don't know when to stand back and let creative genius happen.
Apologies to Vincent and Reg for any irritation in this post.

I don't think you understand that this is how it has always been, and nothing horrible has ever come out of it

the writers know what they're doing, they have been for the last 3 seasons

Oh, yeah. Manufacturing quality is a definite issue, but that extends to a lot of things these days.
